The Problem

When an employee leaves, HR manually notifies COBRA admins, FSA/HSA custodians, payroll vendors, and insurance carriers.   1. Termination recorded in payroll system - HR marks employee status as terminated with an effective date in the ben admin or payroll system.
  2. Webhook fires immediately - Bindbee detects the employee_data_changed event with termination_date and employment_status=INACTIVE.
  3. All ben admin platforms receive termination signal in real time - COBRA admins, FSA/HSA providers, voluntary carriers, and payroll systems get clean employee and benefits data with termination date.
