Each HR and payroll integration involved several complexities. As Budgie Health had to connect with multiple data points from multiple HR/Payroll systems, understanding the complexity of each system was a big challenge.
Even if the complexity of each system is well understood - Budgie Health had to code integrations with HRIS like UKG, Workday, ADP, etc. This would take several months.
